It was announced by Atlanta Hawks GM Danny Ferry that the Hawks have recalled Mike Scott from his second assignment with the Hawks' NBA D-League affiliate, the Bakersfield Jam.  The 6'8" rookie forward out of Virginia averaged recorded at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in each of the three games he played on that second stint with Bakersfield.  Scott rejoins a Hawks team that just waived forward(-center) Jeremy Tyler.  I think that this was a good move by the Hawks to recall Scott.  While his first D-League stint was successful, this most recent one was excellent.  Bringing Scott back up allowed the Hawks to add another guard to the roster (Shelvin Mack) while not losing anything in the frontcourt (Scott replaces Tyler).  I'm glad to have Scott back and wish him luck in his future in Atlanta.
