It was announced that the Atlanta Hawks have recalled Mike Scott from the NBA D-League. The 6'8" rookie forward out of Virginia was assigned to the Hawks' D-League affiliate, the Bakersfield Jam, on December 1st. He will rejoin the Hawks for their Wednesday night game in Orlando. Scott averaged 13.3 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game in four games with the Jam. I think it was a good move to recall Scott. He is a good rebounder, and the Hawks struggled rebounding in their previous game. Also, Scott is coming off his best performance in the D-League, notching a double-double in a 21 point, 10 rebound effort on Monday night. The Jam don't play again until Friday, so he was probably better off coming back to the Hawks at least for a while, since they play on Wednesday and Thursday. I am glad to see Scott back with the Hawks, and I wish him luck.
