It was announced today by GM Danny Ferry that the Atlanta Hawks have signed point guard Jannero Pargo to a second 10-day contract.  Pargo was signed to his first 10-day contract on January 21 after Louis Williams tore his ACL.  Pargo scored 16 and eight points, respectively, in his first two appearances for the Hawks this season.  His numbers dropped off after that, and he is now averaging 5.2 points per game, 2.6 assists per game, and 1.0 rebounds per game in his five games with the Hawks this year.  I think this was the right move for the Hawks.  It is a low-risk signing.  They might as well give him 10 more days to prove he belongs on this roster.  It did seem like management was contemplating for a while whether or not to give him this contract, because they didn't resign him until three days after his first 10 days expired.  Good luck to him.
