The Atlanta Hawks will take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight on the road. This will be the first game of a back-to-back set for the Hawks. With a win tonight, the Hawks would improve to 16-8 on the season, 1-0 in the regular season series with the 76ers, and 1-0 in their back-to-back set. The probable starters for the Hawks are Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver in the backcourt, DeShawn Stevenson and Josh Smith at the two forward positions, and Al Horford at center. I actually hope Stevenson doesn't play, because I think we will need him more tomorrow night to guard All-Star Luol Deng (Stevenson can only play one night of back-to-backs). Devin Harris (sore left foot) is listed as doubtful. Anthony Tolliver (left shoulder contusion) is a game-time decision. I really hope they can both play. We will need Harris to guard Jrue Holiday (if Holiday plays). We will need Tolliver to play to guard Evan Turner (if Turner plays) and to let Stevenson rest. I think the key to a win for the Hawks is to prepare as if Harris and Tolliver can't play and as if Holiday and Turner can play. If Harris and Tolliver can play and Holiday and Turner can't... ...great! If Harris and Tolliver can't and Holiday and Turner can, then at least we will be well prepared. Game Time: 7pm E.T.
