The Atlanta Hawks will take on the Charlotte Bobcats tonight at home at Philips Arena. This will be the second game of a back-to-back set for the Hawks. With a win tonight, the Hawks would improve to 14-6 on the season, 3-0 in the regular season series with the Bobcats, and 2-0 in their back-to-back set. DeShawn Stevenson may play tonight on the second night of a back-to-back, since he rested his knee on the first night. I think there are a couple of keys to a win tonight for the Hawks. The first is to not underestimate this Bobcats team. Yes, they've been in a slump as of late, and yes, they've only won a third of their games, but the Hawks have to come out and play them with as much effort as they would against the elite teams of the league. The second key is to pressure their guards. They have one of the deepest backcourts in the league, featuring Kemba Walker and Ramon Sessions at the one and Gerald Henderson and Ben Gordon at the two. The Hawks have to put a lot of pressure on these guys so they can't run their offense and control the tempo of the game. If the Hawks can play with effort and contain the Bobcats' guards, I think they can get a W tonight against the division-rival Bobcats.
