The Atlanta Hawks will take on the Los Angeles Clippers today on the road in a matinee matchup.  This is the first game of a back-to-back for the Hawks.  With a win today, the Hawks would improve to 3-2 on the season and take a 1-0 lead in the regular season series with the Clippers.  The probable starters for the Hawks today are Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver in the backcourt, DeShawn Stevenson and Josh Smith at the two forward positions, and Al Horford at center.  Johan Petro (lower back pain) is listed as questionable.  I think this would be the best starting lineup for tonight.  This is a starting lineup that is quick, and I think they will be the best options to keep up with the Clippers' fastbreak style of play.  I think the key to a win today for the Hawks is to deny the ball inside in a halfcourt set.  The Clippers have one of the best backcourts in the league, featuring one of the league's best point guards in Chris Paul.  Paul knows that the Clippers also have one of the best frontcourts in the league, featuring Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, so expect him to do everything he can to get the ball inside to his post players as much as possible.  Paul is very skilled at post feeds, so both the Hawks' guards and the Hawks' bigs need to work extra hard to deny them the ball.  The Hawks' guards need to be hounding Paul at all times in a halfcourt set, and the Hawks' bigs need to play great off-ball post defense on Griffin and Jordan.  If the Hawks can limit the Clippers' points in the paint, I think they can get a W today to begin a four-game road trip.
