The Atlanta Hawks will take on the Los Angeles Lakers tonight on the road at the Staples Center.  This will be the fifth game of a six-game road trip for the Hawks.  This will also be the first of two meetings between these two teams this regular season.  With a win tonight, the Hawks would improve to 34-24 on the season, 4-1 on their road trip, and 1-0 in the regular season series with the Lakers.  The probable starters for the Hawks tonight are Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver in the backcourt, DeShawn Stevenson and Josh Smith at the two forward spots, and Al Horford at center.  Louis Williams (torn ACL, right knee) is listed as out.  I think the key to a win tonight for the Hawks is to force the Lakers to play an up-tempo game.  The Lakers are in the bottom third of the league in fastbreak points per game.  If the Hawks can force the Lakers to keep up with them on the break and not let the Lakers set up in a halfcourt, I think they can get the W tonight against the Lakeshow.
