The Atlanta Hawks will take on the Indiana Pacers tonight on the road. This will be the third of four meetings between these two teams this regular season. With a win tonight, the Hawks would improve to 27-20 on the season and 3-0 in the regular season series with the Pacers. The probable starters for the Hawks tonight are Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver in the backcourt, DeShawn Stevenson and Josh Smith at the two forward positions, and Al Horford at center. I actually like this lineup for the Hawks tonight. As Stevenson can only play one night of back-to-back sets, I would rather have his defense tonight against Paul George than tomorrow night against a Memphis Grizzlies team that just traded away their starting small forward (who was their leading scorer). Devin Harris (sore left foot), Zaza Pachulia (sore right Achilles), and Louis Williams (torn ACL, right knee) are listed as out. Johan Petro (strained back) is listed as questionable. I think the key to a win tonight for the Hawks is rebounding. The Pacers have one of the best frontcourts in the league. In the Hawks' first two wins against Indiana this season, they outrebounded the Pacers in the first game and tied them in total rebounds in the second game. That is very impressive, given that the Pacers are third in the NBA in total rebounds per game. Being shorthanded in the frontcourt tonight, this has to really be a main focus. If the Hawks can box out and give another solid rebounding effort, I think they can get a W tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
