The Atlanta Hawks will take on the Golden State Warriors tonight at home at Philips Arena. This will be the second and final meeting between the two teams of the regular season. With a win tonight, the Hawks would improve to 15-6 on the season and 1-1 in the regular season series with the Warriors. The probable starters for the Hawks tonight are Jeff Teague and Kyle Korver in the backcourt, DeShawn Stevenson and Josh Smith at the two forward positions, and Al Horford at center. This is not at all the lineup I would go with. I would start Teague, Stevenson, Smith, Horford, and Zaza Pachulia. This allows Stevenson to guard the sharpshooting Klay Thompson, Smith to defend the athletic three Harrison Barnes, and Horford to defend the post-up four David Lee (something I think he'd be better for than Smith). The Warriors are a tough team to defend, and I think that is the way to get it done. That is also the first of my two keys to the game. The second is to get out on the break and run. The Warriors are on the second night of a back-to-back, and the Hawks need to tire them out early. If the Hawks can utilize my aforementioned lineup and outscore the Warriors in fastbreak points, I think they can get a W tonight at home.
