It was announced today by Atlanta Hawks GM Danny Ferry that the Hawks have waived recently-acquired Jeremy Tyler.  Tyler was acquired by the Hawks in a trade deadline deal with the Golden State Warriors in exchange for draft considerations.  The 6'10" forward-center famous for forgoing his senior year of high school to play overseas played in one game for the Hawks, tallying three rebounds in just over five minutes of playing time.  I don't really understand this releasing.  Zaza Pachulia is struggling with an Achilles injury, and I think the Hawks need a big like Tyler to come in and help out.  I wish Tyler luck in his post-Hawks career.
